Wise Men...

Hello all my crafty friends, Brenda here from Friends Craftin' with Friends and it is my turn to post here at Cardz TV Gallery. It's been a rough few months with Christmas not being much easier since the loss of my sweet husband, but with all the grands I will get through it.  I have to say though, it will be painful all the same and by far the hardest thing I've ever had to do.

I'm really not on top of my game yet, so I will apologize ahead of time. My card for today is a traditional one, one that shows us what the Christmas season is really all about. I stamped my wise men and the city of Bethlehem in black ink and then embossed it in clear embossing ink. That way I could sponge my night sky without messing up my stamping. And no, your eyes aren't crooked...I stamped my stamp crooked. Told you I wasn't on my game. Anyway I proceeded to sponge my skyline with distress inks. I then dribble water on to the distress inks for the "starry sky". Cut out my scene and layered it onto my card base. I did the same thing on the inside as I did on the outside. Mary's sentiments were perfect for this image. Her stamp sets always have the perfect sentiment on them. You can buy this stamp set here as well as many other fabulous Cardz TV stamps sets!

I want to to wish everyone a joyous Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year!

Merry Everything Christmas Tags

Hello Crafty Friends, Jeri here today! Can you believe it is only 10 days until Christmas? I sure can't! Today I have a couple holiday tags to share with you using the new Cardz TV Stamps set Merry Everything. I have a fun version and a fancy version. I'm so excited to have whipped up my first project, these shaker tags, using my new FUSE tool. One of my favorite techniques to use to stretch my stamps is cutting them apart to use them to make different sentiments, or in this case pairing part of the sentiment with a die cut sentiment. I cut apart the Merry Everything sentiment and just used the word Everything which I heat embossed on a fish tail banner.  For more details on how I made these tags please visit my blog Bug n' Me Creations. Thanks for stopping by the Gallery today and I hope you return tomorrow for another fabulous design.

Christmas Candy Treat Box

Hi Everyone! Julie here from Ready Set Stamp! Every year I always do a candy treat box. It has been a tradition of mine for a few years now. The kids always love it and I love giving them away!!!
For this year I did a Hersey bar wrapped up, topped with a darling Ho, Ho, Ho ornament from Silhouette ID#52794 from Silhouette. I also added a fun box of whoppers and a darling Ghirardelli chocolate wrapped in a Santa Suit that I got from the Silhouette Store. It's ID#69932 from Lori Whitlock. I used Mary's CardzTV Stamp set called Christmas Joy. The Cocoa packet is from Meghan Hardy Silhouette ID#34320. I used Mary's CardzTV Stamp set called Very Merry for the sentiment.

The tag is from Silhouette ID#53084 from Jennifer Wambach and the sentiment is from the newest Christmas set from Mary at CardzTV called Big Holiday Wishes. The pinecone is from Silhouette ID#108607 from Jennifer Rush!

Be sure to head on over to CardzTV to pick up a set of the newest releases to make some darling Christmas candy boxes of your very own! XOXO, Julie. :0)

HAPPY Saturday everyone!
I am so excited to share this card with you today because
it features one of Mary's NEW stamp sets: Glad Tidings!
I must apologize however for the lighting on the sentiment.
I embossed it in Stampendous Shabby White embossing
enamel and it doesn't show up in the picture nearly as
beautiful as it looks in person!!! It is a mixture of white
and gold flecks which did not seem to agree with my lighting.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this stamp set!

Other supplies used:
Hero Arts Gemstones

I hope you all enjoy your day!!!
----20 days 'til Christmas!!!!----
*My FAVORITE holiday of the year!*
(If you can't already tell...haha!)
My family and I are decorating our tree and then going
to a Christmas light show tonight so I am really in the
Christmas spirit today!

Wishing you all a wonderful day!
Thanks for stopping by!

Sending love at Christmas

Hi Karen here from
only 21 days till Christmas
Three weeks will be mass producing this card
for family and Friends

Started with
"Very Merry"

This card is really pretty easy to make
but is really beautiful

first start with two
of the same images
I used
Stampin Up Delightful Decorations stamp set & Ornament Punch

this is retired but you can find it on Ebay
added some glossy accents and chunky glitter

next I mounted them back to back
over a piece of gold DCM
Metallic thread
I found this at AC Moore
next to the embroidery floss

next cut a mat an adhere that to your card base
with repositional adhesive
this needs to be a side folding card
make sure the die is centered
I did use a some painters tape to hold this
down make sure to press it against your clothes to
take some of the stickiness away before you put it
on your paper
run this through you die cutting machine
save the extra pieces I will show a card
I made with these in an upcoming post
carefully
remove the top mat from the card base
center the ornament in the window
align the top mat over the card base
the magic of the card is when you
open it the ornament spins back
and forth
On the inside of the card
I used TH tea die ink on a pierced rectangle
there a little space and the top
and at the bottom to
hand write a personal
message
to finish the card
 some diamond stickles
and McGill Pine Branch punch
a button and a bow

"May Peace be your gift at Christmas
and your blessing all year through! "

December Planning

Debbie from Craftin' Chaos here and I am sharing a planner spread today. Its not complete but you can see I utilized Mary's new planner stamp set as well as several other stamp sets. Just because they aren't "planner" stamps doesn't mean you can't use them in your planner.

I used the weather stamp to stamp what the weather was like on a few days. I also used the appointment, phone stamp, present icon and a few others from the planner set. Then I used a few from various stamp sets. I will list them all at the bottom. Loads of cute planner clips to dress my pages up and add some goodies here and there and I will be done!!
