BEAUTIFUL MOTHER'S DAY HOME DECOR CANVAS

I used a blank 5X7 canvas for my Mother's Day Home Decor project.

First I inked up the background using Tim Holtz distress inks. Then I took a stencil of the heart wreath, and applied modeling paste. Once that dried I colored it in with Chameleon alcohol markers. I added some flowers and a little bit of flower soft. I really love the dimension.

 

For the corners, I used my Cuttlebug and die, then inked that up. I wanted a vintage look on this.

  

I finished off with 2 sayings from the Cardz TV stamp sets "Favorite Phrases" and "Mini Messages"

Gift idea

 

I wanted to share a quick gift idea with you today!

I made a small gift box that you could use to

put candy, a tealight, or any other small trinket

that you can get to fit inside!

 

 

Here are the instructions to make the box:

(I apologize but I do not know where these dimensions 

came from! I got them from a friend.)

 

Bottom:

Cut a piece of cardstock 5 1/2" x 6 1/2"

Score 1 3/4" on all sides

Decorative paper -

Sides: 1 1/2" x 2 3/4"

Ends: 1 1/2" x 1 3/4"

 

Box Top:

Cut cardstock 3 1/8" x 4 1/8"

Punch decorative label (or use thinlet) to

cut out center in the top

 

Cut 2" x 3" piece of acetate for window.

 

Add belly band (1/2" wide) or ribbon to secure the box.

It has such a great array of sayings on it that

you can't go wrong with this set! It would make

 a great Christmas gift for a fellow stamper too!

Hello Cardz TV Gallery fans, Brenda here from Friends Craftin' With Friends and it's my turn to share with you here today. The Cardz TV Stamp set that I used today is one of Mary's newest, it's call Favorite Sayings and you can get it here. 

I made two of these cards for the girls who took care of Savannah while I was away. Such sweet girls and they really were the best!  My fall leaves are from My Creative Time and I stamped and colored with my Zig's markers, I stamped them on some Bristol watercolor paper. The Zigs color so nicely on that paper! I used my Misti to line up sentiment and was able to move my paper on it to keep stamping.

Melissa here and it's my day here at Cardz TV Gallery and I just wanted to share this super simple shaped card with you today. I am using the Stamping Cricut Cartridge, this present has all the layers for a shaped card, no manipulations there other than welding the border together, super simple. I just love how the glitter paper looks and the phrase is perfect!

I am using one of  Mary's newest sets, "Favorite Phrases"!
