Tea Time - Tea Bage Holders

Hi everyone, Maria here from Maria Lina's Creative Designs. For todays project I made some teabag holders. I didn't over embellish them, as I wanted to keep them quite simple. I found some YouTube videos that show how to make these. The green one holds 2 teabags and the blue one holds one. I thought these to be the cutest things ever to give as a little gift for a tea lover.

I used Cardz TV Stamps "Brew Ha HA" for the sentiments and Graphic 45's "Artisan Style" papers. I did add seam binding on the inside flap and added a matt to cover it, which is different from what I saw on the YouTube, where she punched two holes on the binding. I wanted to be able to close the cover and I also added a punched edge to them.

Enjoy...

"Too Cute to Spook" Halloween Treat Box

Hello everyone, so happy to be here and part of an Amazing DT, I'm so enjoying Mary's new Gallery Blog and hope you are too! So exciting to see wonderful inspiration each day, of course, while still enjoying all of the inspiration from our other DT members for their wonderful cards and 3-d projects. I absolutely love Mary's creativity when it comes to her stamp sets, she just seems to find the perfect sentiments for all of the kinds of projects we all love to create...I just want them all! :)

Now onto the project of the day, I found this adorable ghost treat box in the Silhouette store that I just simply adored. I had so much fun putting it together, I purchased the spooky fence separately and thought it would make a nice added touch, the ghost really is way to cute to spook! :)

Please head over to my blog Maria Lina's Creative Designs for more details and as Mary always says, getting some comment love is always appreciated!

Hope you all have a wonderful day and enjoy...

Scary Treats and lots of Sweets!

Debbie here from Craftin' Chaos. I am excited to say I am on another term for Mary with Cardz TV and being a Gallery designer for the new site. She is seriously the sweetest thing and she always has fun sentiments to work with.

Its no secret that I love when it gets close enough to start making Halloween projects....folks that time is here BAM! So I created several treat holders for you with the absolutely brand spankin' new "Frankly Frightening" and then I also used "Spooky Sayings". I just couldn't stop I kept thinking about what I could make and the sentiments made it so easy!

First up I used a haunted house from the Silhouette store Design #4148. I decided to dress it up a bit so I hand cut some shutters, used a micron pen to give some slates and then inked it up with Tim Holtz Distress ink....wait for it... wait for it...Vintage Photo! Ha Ha I actually do own other TH inks but man this one is just all around always my go to ink. also cut a couple ghost and added one to some squiggly wire. I cut another fence and added it to the sides of the house. Its hard to see in the photo on the one side but I wanted the white fence so i cut off the fence that was attached to the house.

I made a test tube treat holder and then adhered the house to the front of it. I used a hole punch to make an accent circle for the top in gray. I also hand cut some yellow paper to put behind the windows to give it alittle somethun somethun. I used the sentiment "Fright Night" from Cardz TV Spooky Sayings set.

Next up I made two little treat boxes (Franky & Witches Hat) both of them are from My Scrap Chick Halloween boxes. I mean could these BE anymore perfect for these sentiments? The sentiments for these are from the brand new set "Frankly Frightening"...I love them.

Last project was made with the We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board. The size paper you need is an 8x8 and you punch and score at 1 3/4" and 4 3/4" and then I turn it over and finish the score lines where it was too big for the board and then do all the other sides at the same marks. The decorative panels that are needed are 2 pieces 3 3/4" x 1 3/4" and 2 pieces 1 3/4" x 1 3/4". I found this idea on a stampin up site. Those girls really know how to utilize punches and this envelope board.

I hope you enjoyed my projects and got inspired to create some fun projects using Cardz TV stamps. Stop by and check out all the great stamps!
