Fish You Were Here

Hello Crafty Friends-It's Jeri here today with a fun set of cards for kids. Actually, I think adults would probably like them, too. Since I have lots of grandkids (11), I spend a lot of time making and sending cards to them. I'm always looking for something fun that I know they will get a kick out of. These are fun because you use your finger print to make them. I made several of them to go along with sentiments from a few different Cardz TV Stamp Sets. I used Cardz TV For the Birds, Cardz TV Critter Captions and Cardz TV More Critter Captions.  For more details on these cards and to see them in their entirety you can visit my blog HERE. Happy Crafting!

You're a Tweetie!

Hello Cardz TV Gallery friends! I hope you are having a wonderful week and that your weather is nice. Brenda here from Friends Craftin' with Friends to share with you today. I recently had a SU party and I wanted a little thank you gift to place in the bags of my orders. So I made these cute bunny boxes on my Explore. I found it on the CTHM Artiste cartridge. I cute them at 7 inches, and I put 3 pieces of candy in them, a mint and 2 Hershey Kisses. On the spring color ones, I just stamped my "thanks" directly on the box, but for the white and black ones that wouldn't work, so I cut a tag out and placed my thanks on it instead. Aren't they dear?! The Cardz TV stamp set that I used was Heartfelt Wishes and you can find that here. I used the "many thanks" sentiment and just cut the many off. I can still put the stamp back together to stamp the whole sentiment if I so choose to.

My next project is some boxes for Easter for my Grandchildren, still have to make another yet. I used my Explore once again with some Lori Whitlock files. My first time cutting SVG files and I have to say that I am loving using other files too! For these cute boxes, I used the CardzTV stamp sets Easter Punnies, Birds and Bees and Easter Blessings and you can find them here. I stamped on a top note styled tag and placed it on the back of the boxes where I will sign "love papaw and grandma". These little boxes are just adorable and I will be filling them with some candy.

That's it for me today, please come back tomorrow to see what another of my design team sisters have for you! Crafty hugs, Brenda

Hi Everyone!

It's Anita from ScrappyHappyMommy and today it's my turn to post a creation using Cardz TV Stamps.

Here is my project...
The card is from the Silhouette Store and is called Celtic Mat Clover a6 Card ID#75756
it is currently on sale for .55c!

I added a cute little shamrock bow...

The sentiment is from Happy Days stamp set

last year I bought this bottle of glitter at our local dollar Store! I have enough to do me for years.

Make sure you stop by my personal blog for details and photo's on how I made this.

Happy Birthday To You

Morning!! My Mom had a birthday the middle of last week and I made this card for her. I am so loving the print and cut feature of my machines. It makes card making a little easier when you are in a hurry, or if you don't want to deal with smaller pieces. You can check out all of the details about my card at my blog, Sharon-Mee Mee's Creations.
I used Mary's 'Good Times' stamp set on this card.
I sure hope ya'll are visiting each day, Monday thru Friday and checking out the creations that my DT Sister's are making. If you aren't, then you are missing some awesomeness for sure!!!!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Luck of the Irish

Hi, everyone! I am so super excited to be back on Mary's Design Team! Yay! I must say, it feels good to be back! I missed those girls so much! For my first project being back on the team, I have a card to show you today. I haven't made a card in a long, long time, but I wanted to be sure and mail my daddy a card this week. I chose to send him a St. Patrick's Day one. Here it is!

  • Cardz TV Stamps - St. Patrick's Day set
  • Sil ID# 55904 - includes Leprechaun hat, beer mug, and horseshoe
  • Tag from Walmart
  • Sequins added for a little bling & adhered with glue dots
Don't forget to wear green later this month or someone may pinch you! Which makes me wonder, why DO people get pinched who don't wear green on St. Patrick's day? So I asked Mr. Google and found this from Answers.com.
It's thought that the pinching started in the early 1700s, about the time that awareness of St. Patrick's as a holiday came to the fore, too, in Boston, in the Massachusetts colony. They thought if you wore green, it made you invisible to the Leprechauns, which was good because they would pinch anyone they could see. So the pinching is to warn and remind you about the Leprechauns.

Pinching those not wearing green on St. Patrick's Day is an American tradition, having really nothing to do with Ireland or St. Patrick Wrong. I have lived in Ireland. The truth is, Irish people think Americans are crazy. St. Patrick's Day is not even remotely celebrated over there as heavily as it is in the US.

WikiAnswers users share their ideas on the origin:
Many years ago, playful Irish children began the tradition of pinching people who forgot to wear green on St. Patrick's Day and the tradition is still practiced today.
You get pinched because you're a nonconformist.Pinching gives you a bruise so you can have some green on you.The act of pinching on St. Patrick's day began in America with Irish settlers who tried to get their kids to behave by telling them that fairies would come pinch them.
There you go. Take it for what it's worth. I just copy and pasted it for you. It's interesting, but you know, everything you read on the internet is not always true and completely accurate. Enjoy the rest of your day!
